Enhancing School Life

As a Providence family, you enjoy a range of resources, from student well-being and safety to academic support and after-school care.

School Counselors

School counselors are part of the educational, spiritual, and social development of students at Providence. We believe that it is valuable at many times in life to have the support of a trained counselor for emotional support, skill building, guidance, and prayer.

Our counseling department also provides education and resources for overcoming challenges, growing into healthy followers of Christ, and as a place for families to have personal information held in confidence. Support from Providence school counselors is based on the ethical standards of the American Association of Christian Counseling (AACC). Class-directed lessons are rooted in Biblical teaching, and individual, family, and group support will be grounded in integrity and honoring of God and the dignity of all people.

Student Services/College Counseling

Student Services strives to support students at Providence through class scheduling, college applications, standardized testing, academic records, academic counseling, and professional counseling referrals.

At Providence, we are dedicated to helping students with their college acceptance and scholarship applications. Our Student Services Department provides personalized support and guidance to each student during the high school years, aiming to assist them in the following areas:

  • Navigating course selection during high school
  • Clarifying career and academic goals
  • Preparing for a successful college admissions process
  • Obtaining information on colleges and universities across the United States

Campus Security

School safety is a priority at Providence. In addition to armed security officers with decades of law enforcement experience, we employ many safety protocols such as cameras, keycard access control, safety drills, and coordination with local law enforcement. Both of our locations are just down the street from the Lilburn and Johns Creek police departments.

Parent Teacher Fellowship

Providence parents automatically join the Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF). This organization fosters connections between teachers and parents, promotes unity in the school community, encourages parent involvement, and cares for school families.

After School Program

Known as "Fun in the Afternoon," our after school program serves Providence families by offering enriching educational, recreational, and social activities for students in grades K-7 after school hours. By providing a safe and engaging environment, the program supports working parents and ensures students have access to quality programs that foster their academic, physical, and social development outside of regular school hours. It strives to enhance the overall well-being and learning experience of students while offering convenient after school care to families.

Academic Support

We understand that some students may require additional attention to navigate school challenges successfully. By choosing Providence, your child will receive the personalized care and support they need to excel in their academic journey.

The Academic Support department is staffed with caring faculty who are student-focused and believe in equipping them with the tools they need to succeed at school.

Our approach does not modify the curriculum but provides accommodations to help achieve academic success. This way, each student is equipped with the learning tools and strategies to handle the rigors of school at every level and on into college.
