Friday, November 18th
You BELONG at Grandparents Day! Join us on Friday, November 18th, for a fun-filled morning exclusively for Providence grandparents to get a first-hand look at where your grandchild is learning and growing.
Lilburn Campus — 9:00 a.m. to noon
The morning begins at 9:00 a.m. with pastries and coffee in the high school auditorium served by students and featuring the chorus and a conversation with school leaders. NOTE: The Lilburn campus breakfast is full.
If you are a preschool-7th grade grandparent, you may visit your grandchild's classroom for an interactive activity. Two sessions are available (10:30 and 11:15 a.m.) in cases where you have more than one grandchild. Preschool-7th graders can be checked out by a grandparent (if a parental permission slip has been signed). Because of limited classroom space, younger siblings cannot be checked out and taken to other sessions.
High school grandparents (8-12th grade) have two sessions to choose from (10:30 and 11:15 a.m.), and you are invited to attend both! One is a session sharing the latest going on at Providence and an interactive Q and A session in the media center. The other session is a guided tour to glimpse high school life. Maybe you'll spot your grandchild in class! High school students will be dismissed after school at 12:30 p.m.
Providence Johns Creek — 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Have a grandchild at our 9-12th grade Johns Creek location? You are invited to a coffee and breakfast casserole gathering in the school's café. It begins at 9:00 a.m. and is hosted by students in the senior class. Get a look at our new location and attend a session on "Praying for Your Grandchildren."
Seats are LIMITED!
An RSVP is REQUIRED for EVERY experience during the event and must be received by Monday, November 14th.
Call 770-279-7200 if you have questions.
