Dual Enrollment

Providence's dual enrollment program could be an excellent option for students who want to take online college-level classes and receive college credit before graduating from high school.

Program Requirements

3.0 GPA or higher
Apply & Accepted to in-state college or university
Providence tuition based on which option is chosen
Option 1 Full-Time Dual Enrollment

All courses taken off campus
Student is able to participate in Providence extracurriculars
Bible class is required; online Bible class may incur an additional fee
Notify Providence of intent to dual enroll by February 28, 2023
Financial aid not available
Cost to family: $5,100

Any changes to enrollment status after February 28th will result in additional fees. The final date to make changes to the enrollment agreement is August 1st.

Option 2 - Part-Time Dual Enrollment

1-3 classes taken through Truett McConnell University or Toccoa Falls College
Classes taken online throughout school day at Providence in conjunction with remaining in-person classes
Notify Providence of intent to dual enroll by February 28, 2023
Financial aid available to those who qualify
Tuition is the same as traditional high school students

Hybrid Program

The Hybrid Program at Providence Johns Creek combines traditional brick-and-mortar education with online classes and/or dual enrollment options. Hybrid students take four of their eight classes in person at our Johns Creek location to include:

Bible Class
L2 Leadership Class
One Core Class
One Elective Class -or- One Core Class

Hybrid students take their other four classes in a manner that provides flexibility for students and families while offering students online classes, dual enrollment courses, or experiential learning opportunities that are arranged and scheduled to meet each student’s needs.

Hybrid students are fully enrolled at Providence Johns Creek, and they attend Axis (student-led worship) weekly and the fall Encounter retreat. They may also participate in fine arts, athletics, school-sponsored social events (e.g. Homecoming, Prom, etc.), and a variety of co- and extracurricular activities.

What are the benefits of the Hybrid Program?

The Hybrid Program provides high school students at Providence Johns Creek the flexibility to enjoy an enriching school life while experiencing the spiritual growth that Providence offers.

Students who concentrate their hybrid enrollments in dual enrollment and AP courses have the added benefit of accruing significant credit hours on the transcript of their future college or university.

What type of student could thrive in this program?

The Hybrid Program requires students to be organized with their weekly and monthly calendars of their individual school schedule and the remainder of family and life activities. Students should be skilled with online class completion, highly effective in communicating with adults, and eager to find success with the challenges that evolve by not being on campus all day, every day.

Students must qualify for enrollment in a college or university to participate in any dual enrollment courses during their junior or senior years. This includes meeting the minimum GPA and SAT/ACT score requirements.
