2020 has been a season of change and we are so excited to revive our swimming program this season. The varsity swim team, 9th -12th grade, has excelled during this first season back as a program. We strive to focus on each swimmer as an individual and help them grow to reach the goals that they set for themselves at the beginning of the season. We want to challenge, encourage, and make swimming fun. Every swimmer has made so many improvements and there are a few that have already reached their goals they set at the beginning of the season. We have had year round and non-year round swimmers qualify for the State meet in February. As a coach, teacher, and mentor to swimmers and students, I desire for the swimmers to have not only the support from me, but the support of one another in and out of the pool. I want the freshman to be able to connect with upperclassmen, and for the upperclassmen to accept the role of leadership that we strive to achieve in the classroom. I aspire to grow the Providence Swim Team as we continue to expand the program to eventually include JV and a Middle School program. We are hoping to continue to grow our varsity program next season and all athletes are welcomed to come participate as long as you are drown proof!
