Our overall coaching philosophy is to prepare kids to make an impact in their community and in the world through the concepts of hard work and teamwork on the field. It is important to us that they be different from the other teams we play, and that the name “Christian” (specifically Jesus) that is in our school name is the reason for that difference. We also want the kids to play their best at all times, in and out of season, in games and in practice, to glorify the Lord by utilizing the gifts with which He has blessed them.
The 2017 team finished near the top of the region and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen before losing in game 3 to King's Ridge. The 2018 team will miss the four seniors from the previous year, but hope to build on the wealth of experience that will be returning in all phases of the game. Continued progress on the mound and in the field and a continued move in the right direction at the plate should result in a chance at a top region finish an another run in the playoffs.
