Junior Varsity Baseball

As the coaches of the JV baseball team, our job it is to develop players’ physical and mental skills in order to prepare them for future competition at the varsity level. However, as coaches of young Christian men, our job is much more important. We strive to help those young men develop spiritually and to grow in their walk with Christ. We want our players to glorify Christ with their actions on and off the field and to draw people to the Lord simply by living a life rooted in Christ. Through the trials and triumphs of the game of baseball, we are able to help them understand what it looks like to glorify Christ with their attitudes and efforts regardless of the situation. Through these experiences, the players are able to learn life lessons that they can apply well beyond the diamond.
