Preschool

Eligible children must turn 3 years old by August 1, 2024.

Preschool will follow the elementary school schedule, drop off beginning at 7:30 a.m. and carpool pick-up at 3:00 p.m.

Providence teachers and staff will work closely with your child to provide a loving and patient, Christ centered learning environment. This environment will provide multiple opportunities for your child to learn through a variety of activities in large and small group settings. Children will be able to participate in special areas designed for their age such as Spanish, STEM, Art, PE, Music and Chapel. In house field trips will add additional learning experiences for your child. Children will be assessed in the areas of:

1. Communication, Language, and Literacy
2. Physical Development and Motor Skills
3. Social and Emotional Development
4. Cognitive Development: Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Creative Development, Cognitive Processes

Work samples will be kept for each child and sent home at the end of the school year. Progress reports will be sent home at the end of each semester.

Communication between teacher and parent is available at any day before or after class.

Your child will be served a morning snack provided by Providence. Each student will be required to bring lunch from home, with the exception of days when they will be given the option to purchase lunch. We will have an afternoon snack time before dismissal, this snack may be something brought from home or something made in our food craft center.

Each child will be asked to bring a change of clothing to keep in his/her cubby (all children must be bathroom independent), a lunch, and a clear water bottle. Parents will also need to supply a paint smock or old t-shirt for Art class.. Children will wear Providence Christian Academy approved uniforms and tennis shoes.

Tuition for preschool is $ 10,950 for the 2025-2026 school year. These payments can be paid through Veracross Tuition Management.
