Library Media Centers

The support for lifelong learning
MISSION
The mission of the Providence Christian Academy library media centers is two-fold:

  1. to encourage and guide our students to become life-long learners and readers; and
  2. to provide resources that enable our faculty to accomplish the school’s mission of providing “excellence in Christ-centered education as an extension of the Christian home”.

The library media centers are designed to ensure that students and staff are effective users of resources and information. Our library media centers are places where students can build twenty-first century literacy skills. These include reading effectively for information as well as enjoyment, using computers and other media to locate information, and learning how to evaluate and use information to communicate.
