Colleges and universities visit Providence frequently to meet with our high school students during lunch. Below is a list of upcoming visits. Encourage your students to stop by the Media Center in Lilburn, the Cafe in Johns Creek, or join remotely at the times listed using the links below to learn more about what each college offers and requires in terms of academic programs, student life, admissions, etc.

SAT/ACT Test Prep

Providence is pleased to once again offer the SAT/ACT prep course for students looking to ready themselves for the SAT and CT or to improve their scores. Maggui Joyner, an outside consultant, comes in each Fall and Winter to teach a 7-week test prep course during lunch on Wednesdays.Contact Student Services with questions regarding either of these options.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

for all current Seniors

Completing and submitting the FAFSA is free and easier than ever, and it gives you access to the largest source of financial aid to pay for college or career school. It is available online (fafsa.ed.gov) beginning October 1st for the 2019-2020 school year. All students entering college in the fall of 2020 should submit this form as it is required for HOPE eligibility as well as other types of college financial aid (including merit based scholarships).
