The PCA Board and Administration recently approved a 6 year Strategic Plan that provides a financial and educational vision of our future. To achieve this plan, the board as launched "Providence Tomorrow", a capital funds effort to underwrite the plan. Specifically, Providence Tomorrow will support the following initiatives:
Technology Enhancements
iProv – Each student in grades 7-12 will receive an iPad2 device for use at home and school. Lower grade students will have access to an iPad2 at school. Updating classroom technology will allow faculty to create engaging instructional approaches, organizational supports, and communication tools. This will provide a learning environment where differentiated instruction is supported by technology and will allow us to address the needs of all students.
Fine Arts
Renovation of the HS Auditorium will include improved lighting, seating, storage space, energy efficiency, and an expanded entry way. The ES/MS Commons will receive a makeover that will yield better seating, sound and temperature control.
Athletics
Field and Track
The construction of a multipurpose athletic field, a running track, and a practice field will provide much needed support for PCA sport teams.
Football
Providence Tomorrow will launch and support PCA Football for three years. This includes staffing, uniforms, equipment and other needed items.
