Health & Physical Education
The physical education department at Providence Christian Academy holds the belief that "physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things." (I Timothy 4:8) We want to encourage students to strengthen their bodies, but also realize that developing character and community, in a cooperative setting is important. We also believe that "there is glory to be found when one has done his best," (Eric Liddell - Chariots of Fire.) It is our goal to encourage the student to try his/her best in every activity that we do in the classroom, whether or not they excel in or like the activity. We also encourage those who excel in an area, to help their classmates learn and succeed.
