FINANCIAL INFORMATION 2008-2009

The cost for enrolling a student at Providence Christian Academy involves both fees and tuition.

Fees
The following fees are payable for each student in full and are non-refundable.

Registration Fee (First child: $240; Second child: $240; each additional child: $130) The registration fee is paid annually for each student. New students are required to pay the registration fee to complete the registration process.

Book/Activity Fee (K4-R $30; Grades 1-4 $240; Grades 5-7 $450; Grades 8-12 $480) This fee covers class party fees, grade level trips/encounters, textbooks and workbooks. Families may choose to pay this fee in full with their first tuition payment OR the fee may be included with their chosen yearly tuition payment plan.

Billing Change Fee $30 is charged when changing tuition payment schedule after May 1 for the following school year.

Tuition
PLAN A – the entire balance is due on or before JUNE 1, 2008
PLAN B – three equal payments due on JUNE 1, SEPTEMBER 1, and DECEMBER 1, 2008.
PLAN C - ten equal payments due on the 1st of each month beginning on JUNE 1 and ending on APRIL 1 (with no payment due on December 1)
PLAN D - ten equal payments to be made by automatic draft of the payer’s bank account on the 10th of each month beginning June 10, 2008 and ending April 10, 2009 (with no draft made in December). See attached information.

Selective Studies
Selective Studies classes are designed to support students in grades 1-12 who have a diagnosed condition that interferes with learning or who would benefit from a class to become successful in specific areas of the academic curriculum. Permission from the Selective Studies Director and High School or Elementary Principal must be obtained prior to registering for Selective Studies.

Annual Fund
Tuition payments cover approximately 94% of the cost to educate a student at Providence Christian Academy. The remaining 6% is generated from gifts given through the Annual Fund to Providence from parents, grandparents, alumni, friends, foundations and corporations. It is essential that the Academy reach its Annual Fund goal each year to operate the school with a balanced budget. Annual Fund goals are announced at the beginning of each school year. All gifts to Providence Christian Academy are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law under IRS code section 501(c)(3).

Tuition Grant Program
Limited funding is available through a need-based financial aid grant program. Contact the Business Office for details.
